“CSIGA” Noodles Manufacturing Plant

I am Illés Molnár, individual entrepreneur. I’ve been engaged in making pasta since 1982. I make various types of “csiga” noodles (a traditional Hungarian dry soup pasta with appearance and preparation method similar to Italian garganelli, except “csiga” is much smaller) under factory conditions since 1990, and I’ve been continuously improving these pastas ever since. These products allowed me to enter the consumer market so as to now I’m engaged in the manufacturing of nothing else but “csiga” noodles. A new facility was built, allowing us to keep making high-quality “csiga” products and to meet increased demand on the market. At the same time, the whole technology was replaced as well. Our colleagues are well-trained specialists in the industrial production of pasta. The staff consists of the same 15 people with whom
we’ve been working together almost from the very beginning. The associate we’ve been working together with for the longest time came to our company 36 years ago. We appreciate our colleagues, we recognise their commitment with high salaries and the daily life of our company has a Homely atmosphere. All this supported us in achieving to have the quality of our “csiga” products recognised as the best in the country. My son, Illés Molnár Jr. founded his own enterprise, Molnár Házitészta- Gyártó Kft. (Molnár Home-made Pasta Manufacturing LLC) in 2015. He’s doing everything in his power for the future of the company as well. Our enterprises operate as affiliated companies.
